Christian Bako is a Hungarian-born Canadian actor. He is currently based both in Budapest, Hungary and in Toronto, Canada. Over the course of the last 18 years Christian has shown his versatility in numerous US and Canadian TV and film projects.
In the summer of 2022 he had a recurring part in FUBAR, an original Netflix show, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Christian also appears in a Canadian TV series titled Pretty Hard Cases.
He was a guest star and recurring character in the TV series Taken, and also appeared in The Boys.
Right before Covid he worked on the Canadian TV show Hudson & Rex.
In early 2020 he had a large principal role in The Fight Machine, a film based on the book by Craig Davidson, writer of Rust and Bone.
Christian worked as a series regular in the 1st season BBC America's Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, starring Elijah Wood and also Samuel Barnett as the title character. It's currently available on Netflix worldwide.
He also appeared in the 2nd season of Gangland Undercover as one of the recurring characters.
His other credits include shows like Nikita, Rookie Blue, Cracked, Cardinal, Carter, Killjoys, as well as Murdoch Mysteries and Dark Matter, and also appeared in Nurses.
Among his film credits are award-winning projects like the highly acclaimed Sweet Karma, the indie horror Nostrum, the action-packed Bounty Hunters and the cop drama 10-57.
He also appears as a principal character in Undercover Grandpa, a comedy starring James Caan, Louis Gossett Jr. and Paul Sorvino amongst others.
